CHICKEN SOUP |
Ingredients for Chicken Soup
* 1 whole fryer chicken
* 1 bag carrots
* 1 bunch celery
* 1 onion
* 1 cup rice or barley
* 1 can chicken broth
* enough water to cover everything
* salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste
How to Cook Chicken Soup
1. Crock pot fryer chicken for about 3 hours on high in broth, salt, pepper, and garlic salt.
2. Remove chicken from bone.
3. Cut up carrots, celery and onion into bite size pieces.
4. Add to broth along with rice or barley. Add seasoning to taste.
5. Crock pot for another couple hours to allow vegetables to cook, and flavors to blend.
