* Corn tortillas
* Canola oil
* Sea salt
* Chili powder (optional)
How to Make Baked Tortilla Chips
1. Buy baked, unsalted tortilla chips to cut out the fat and sodium of regular chips, or make your own from fresh corn tortillas.
2. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
3. Use a pizza wheel or sharp knife to cut the tortillas into strips or wedges.
4. Brush both sides with canola oil and sprinkle with salt to taste and chili powder, if desired.
5. Arrange the chips in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake until golden brown and crisp, about 15 minutes.
