Diabetic Turkey Burgers |
* 1 lb. ground turkey breast
* Egg substitute equal to 1 egg
* 1/4 C. dry bread crumbs
* 1 tsp. steak sauce
* 1 tsp. spicy brown mustard
* 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
* 1/4 tsp. pepper
* 4 hamburger buns, split
* Lettuce leaves and tomato slices
How to Cook Diabetic Turkey Sandwich
1. In a bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients.
2. Shape into four burgers (for easier shaping, use cold wet hands or disposable plastic gloves).
3. Pan−fry, grill or broil until no longer pink.
4. Serve on buns with lettuce and tomatoes.
