EGG SALAD SANDWICH |
Ingredients for Egg Salad Sandwich
* 2 large hard-cooked eggs, cooled under running water
* 1 Tbs sour cream
* 2 tsp sweet pickle relish
* 2 tsp mayonnaise
* 1/4 tsp Dijon-style mustard
* 1 pinch salt, (optional)
* 1/4 cup finely-chopped celery
* 2 slices reduced-fat whole-wheat bread
* Paprika for garnish, (optional)
How to Cook Egg Salad Sandwich
1. In a bowl, mash the egg.
2. Add the sour cream, pickle relish, mayonnaise, mustard, and salt (if desired).
3. Stir to mix well.
4. Stir in the celery.
5. Chop the egg whites and stir them into the yolk mixture.
6. Spread the mixture on each slice of bread.
7. Serve as open-faced sandwiches.
8. If desired, garnish with a light sprinkling of paprika.
